Vintage dark green Oliver 10. It is almost complete with original items. I re-attached the pull wire and tensioned it so you can type with it. He still needs a new ribbon. The serial number is R51960. He was also called Batwing typewriter. It was made in the United States in the 1910s as an export product. Fewer copies of this model were made.

The Oliver Typewriter Company was founded in Chicago Illinois in 1895, but was founded earlier by Thomas Oliver, born in 1852. The Oliver was loved and hated because of its appearance and after the First World War they went bankrupt in 1928. The company continued in Great Britain, where it lasted until 1959.

    It weighs 15 KG

This typewriter is a wonderful item for your office or workplace. Its timelessness reminds us of the robust, but important past that has an effect on the here and now.
