A black steel mechanical calculator from Brunsviga from the first half of the 20th century. The predecessor of the electric and digital calculators.

Brunsviga Maschinenwerke Grimme, Natalis & Co AG is the company from 1871 that originally made sewing machines and household appliances. When engineer Franz Trinks took over the patent of the famous William Odhner calculators in 1892 (Arithmometer), Grimme, Natalis & Co started making calculators under the name of Brunsviga. Brunviga is Latin for Braunschweig, the place where this calculator was made. The company name contains AG which stands for Aktiengesellschaft.

This vintage calculator no longer works properly, but is decoratively very interesting due to its robust black appearance and fits on a desk or in a cupboard due to its size and invites you to have a conversation.

    18×20×30 (cm) Weight: 8.5 kg.
