Found on a farm of someone who had brought it back from Sweden.
Beautiful and well-maintained mechanical calculator from Trinks-Brunsviga from the first half of the 20th century, more than 100 years old.
It still works fine and looks good too. The steel hood is not included. A real piece of history!

Trinks stands for the name Franz Trinks who worked as an engineer at Grimme, Natalis & Co from 1892. Brunviga is Latin for Braunschweig, the place where this calculator was made. Grimme, Natalis & Co took over the patent from the Odhner family. Trinks himself worked at this company until 1925. The patent logo contains C.a.A (Commanditgesellschaft auf Aktien) and is the original founding logo.
